Well, PME products for the Chevy engines are far and few between. But when we are told by a reliable source that the drag racers are left high and dry with the square port of the Big Block Chevy engine, we decided to work on an answer that did not require welding.

That’s right, no more paying $700 to weld up the exhaust ports. PME has developed a way for the everyday mechanic to improve his performance at the track without paying out the big bucks.

By installing the inserts into the port,(which are secured by glue and a screw going through the exhaust plate), you now have created the D port which everyone desires and with the 1/2” aluminum billet exhaust flange your head the transformation is complete.
