When rebuilding your Modified Ford engine, why not go for a different intake manifold?
       This is easily done by purchasing the PME  Adapter Plate Kit that allows the use of a 351 Cleveland Intake Manifold.
       Because the 351M and 400M are the same deck height this kit works for either engine.
      351C 2-V heads and the 351 Modified heads are almost identical, so pick the ones that suit your needs.
      The Adapter Plate Kit is three pieces.  This kit usually does not require a distributor kit, but the 351-400M distributor has a very short housing.  If you desire, you may use a 351W distributor that has a taller housing and install your Modified gear .  If  this is not an option for you PME sells the Distributor Kit that will cure any clearance problems.
